Dr Gabrielle Tüscher

Renowned Eating disorder specialist, Clinical psychologist, and dietitian

Dr. Tüscher is an internationally recognised expert in psychology and nutrition, renowned for her integrative mind-body approach and compassionate care in healing relationships with self and others. With over two decades of clinical experience, she specialises in psychodynamic therapy for trauma, relational conflict, and behavioural disorders, including all forms of eating disorders.

Her adaptable, evidence-based approach blends ACT, CBT, and FBT, tailored to each client’s unique context. She works across individual, couple, and family therapy formats, with a clinical focus on two of the most stigmatised areas of mental health: trauma—including sexual and childhood trauma—and eating disorders, particularly in adolescents and young adults.

Dr. Tüscher is the founder of Smashing Masks™: The ED Circle Professional Programme Series, a pioneering initiative uniting patients, carers, and professionals to combat stigma and elevate lived experience.

In addition to her clinical work, she is a leading wellness consultant in the global luxury hospitality sector, with clients including Shangri-La Hotels and The Peninsula Group. Her wellness designs—such as the Naturally Peninsula brand—have earned international acclaim, with features in Vogue, Newsweek, Channel News Asia, and the South China Morning Post.

– Your Psychology Atelier –

Bespoke care with clinical sophistication, honouring the depth of work in eating disorders, trauma, and anxiety.

My personal and professional journey was shaped by the profound loss of my father at 15, which marked the beginning of an eight-year struggle with anorexia nervosa. During that time, I grappled with self-loathing, anxiety, and a fractured sense of identity. Recovery came only through confronting these struggles and embracing a full, imperfect self.

This lived experience now forms the foundation of my work, allowing me to offer deeply informed, compassionate care to others navigating similar challenges.

As the founder of Tüscher Psychology® Ltd., a well-established private practice based in Hong Kong, I specialise in psychological and nutritional rehabilitation, offering both in person and virtual services. I work with a global clientele, guiding individuals through tailored, evidence-based interventions to support their personal growth, recovery, and well-being.
